Gio Chamba

Gio Chamba is an Electropical-Cumbia duo from Houston,
Texas, formed by Gio Alejandro and Coffee Guzman. Blending
electronic production, hip-hop, and traditional cumbia,
their sound feels both modern and familiar, driven by bass-heavy
grooves, psychedelic guitar lines, and high-energy live.
Their music is shaped in collaboration with producer
Svani Quintanilla (Principe Q)—son of A.B. Quintanilla of
Los Kumbia Kings—bringing a distinct cumbia lineage to
their evolving sound. On stage, Gio’s vocals and guitar
interplay with Coffee’s explosive, punk-influenced conga
playing, creating a dance-forward live experience that connects immediately with audiences.
