Richard Andrew Thorburn (born January 10, 1974), better known by his stage name R.A. the Rugged Man, is an American rapper and producer. He began his music career at age 12, building a reputation locally for his lyrical skills. Thorburn signed with major label Jive Records at age 18, but his debut album, Night of the Bloody Apes, was never released.

He was featured on all three of Rawkus's Soundbombing albums, as well as the platinum-selling WWF Aggression album. After a brief stint on Capitol Records (during which he recorded another unreleased album, American Lowlife), Thorburn signed with independent label Nature Sounds and released his official debut, Die, Rugged Man, Die. In 2013, Thorburn released his second album, Legends Never Die, via Nature Sounds.

In addition to his hip hop career, Thorburn has contributed to Vibe, King, Complex, Rides, XXL, The Source, The Ring, among others. He wrote and produced the cult film Bad Biology, and also hosts the web series "Film School" on MTV's Film.com.

Implants are a five-piece melodic punk rock supergroup formed in 2011, featuring members from iconic SoCal punk bands Strung Out, Pulley, Ten Foot Pole, No Use For A Name, Face To Face, and Brown Lobster Tank/The Tank. They quickly gained a massive following after their demo tracks leaked online, capturing worldwide attention and radio play. Their song “Once Was I” was featured on KROQ, 98.7FM, and still remains a staple on SiriusXM Faction Punk.

Their debut album, From Chaos To Order, was hailed as one of 2013's Top 10 Punk Rock Releases and continues to attract new fans today. Known for their electrifying live performances, Implants have shared national tours and stages with punk legends such as Good Riddance, NOFX, Pulley, Strung Out, and countless others.

Their highly anticipated new album, Annihilation, the band's second full-length album, was produced and mixed by Chris Collier (KoRn, Pulley, Prong) and mastered by Kyle Black (Pierce The Veil, Comeback Kid, New Found Glory). It is set to drop on Cyber Tracks this October.

During the show after doing a normal set comedians will pull a piece of paper out and riff off it. These shows are a blast and can get as chaotic as you’d imagine.

Our headliner Ike Gazaryan is fresh off his Kill Tony debut where he had a hilarious set/interview and Tony tossed him a joke book before leaving the stage (which only happens if you have a great set). He also performs all over the world doing standup in English and Russian. The show is also featuring Ryan Shores who you might’ve seen on Hulu/headlines across the country. Hosting the show is a San Diego favorite and OB/PL native Alan Henderson who you also might’ve seen on Killer Shark Live that was a great white shark documentary on the BBC. Virginian Keller Williams released his first album in 1994, FREEK, and has since given each of his albums a single-syllable title: BUZZ, SPUN, BREATHE, LOOP, LAUGH, HOME, DANCE, STAGE, GRASS, DREAM, TWELVE, LIVE, ODD, THIEF, KIDS, BASS, PICK, FUNK, VAPE, SYNC, RAW, SANS, ADD, SPEED, CELL, DROLL, and now DEER. Each title serves as a concise summation of the concept guiding each project.

Keller’s albums reflect his pursuit to create music that sounds like nothing else. Un-beholden to conventionalism, he seamlessly crosses genre boundaries. The end product is music that encompasses rock, jazz, funk, and bluegrass, always keeping the audience on their feet. Keller built his reputation initially on his engaging live performances, no two of which are ever alike.

For most of his career, he has performed solo. His stage shows are rooted around Keller singing his compositions and choice cover songs, while accompanying himself on acoustic guitar, bass, guitar synthesizer, and drum samples—a technique called live phrase sampling or “looping.” The end result often leans toward a hybrid of alternative folk and groovy electronica, a genre Keller jokingly calls “acoustic dance music” or “ADM.”

Keller's constant evolution has led to numerous band projects as well, including Keller & The Keels, Grateful Grass, KWahtro, Keller and the Travelin’ McCourys, Grateful Gospel, More Than A Little, and most recently, DeadPettyKellerGrass. You can even catch him from time to time going back to his troubadour roots with his “Shut the Folk Up and Listen” series.

Keller can be found playing clubs and festivals with these projects and his tried-and-true solo looping show, always changing things up and keeping moving.
